My client is a well-recognised manufacturing business currently looking to appoint a Facilities Manager at their site in Andover. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and compliant operation of all site facilities. You will be instrumental in delivering an efficient and sustainable workplace environment, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-  improvement projects. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in facilities management within a manufacturing setting, with strong knowledge of building systems, contractor supervision, and health & safety legislation. This position offers autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to lead real change across the site. Facilities Manager Andover Permanent Position Main Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security, and general building systems Manage and coordinate contractors and service providers for maintenance, compliance, and repairs Lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies Develop and manage the facilities budget while tracking energy use, efficiency, and sustainability goals Plan and deliver capital improvement and refurbishment projects with minimal disruption to business Key Skills and Experience: Proven background in facilities management within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance routines, and safety regulations Confident managing service contracts, external providers, and facilities budgets Excellent organisational and communication skills Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to lead operational projects from planning to completion
