Facilities Manager - Steel Industry Location: Sheffield Salary: £42,000+- £50,000 Benefits - 25 holidays + 8 bank holidays - Additional holiday earned at 5- & 10-years’ service - Matched up to 8% pension - Private healthcare - Up to 15% company production bonus scheme - Sick pay Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, Days, 37.5 hours a week Reference: JoAD/6525 The Company My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal alloys and associated products. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia, and Americas, with over 75 years experience within manufacturing. The UK site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation. Key Skills * A strong Facilities / Engineering background within a manufacturing environment * Engineering/Facilities Management level qualification or equivalent. * Previous experience, with formal training/qualifications in a maintenance, mechanical, or electrical discipline The Role The Site Facilities and Compliance Engineer is responsible for all aspects of site facilities, covering three sites within the Sheffield facility. This will include building & grounds maintenance, the management of utilities, building security and fleet management. Carrying out and/or arranging to be carried out, planned/ responsive maintenance to maintain legal compliance. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
