Facilities Manager
Location: Horsham
Salary: Up to £22 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Contract: 25 August 2025 – 31 October 2025 (potential to go permanent)
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operational, safety, and financial management of multiple sites. This role will involve ensuring the smooth delivery of facilities services, managing office relocations, and implementing a creative, proactive approach to workplace solutions.
The successful candidate will develop and lead a high-performing team, driving service excellence through strong leadership, customer focus, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities for a Facilities Manager:
Oversee day-to-day delivery of all Facilities Management functions, including hard and soft services.
Manage office moves, relocations, and workplace transformation projects.
Minimise FM risk through robust processes and procedures.
Lead and motivate teams to deliver excellent customer service and operational performance.
Monitor and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Conduct regular site audits to maintain high health and safety standards.
Provide accurate and timely reporting for both hard and soft services.
What are we looking for in a Facilities Manager:
Proven experience delivering both hard and soft FM services in a corporate environment.
Familiarity with CAFM systems and helpdesk tools.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to liaise at executive level.
Knowledge of safe working practices, permits to work, and health & safety compliance.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Technical knowledge of building maintenance.
IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.
Full UK driving licence.
