About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Supervisor to join a leading facilities management provider on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to progress into a supervisory position, or an experienced Facilities Supervisor seeking a stable, site-based role. The position combines hands-on maintenance responsibilities with contractor management, compliance oversight, and day-to-day facilities supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  * Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities carried out by engineers, contractors, and specialist vendors.

  * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site.

  * Provide first-line fault finding and technical support on building services systems.

  * Support electrical maintenance, testing, inspections, and repairs.

  * Manage contractors on site, ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and permit systems.

  * Conduct site inspections and complete associated reports.

  * Support projects, commissioning activities, and plant handovers.

  * Assist with procurement of parts, materials, and small works projects.

  * Ensure all work is completed in line with company, client, and statutory compliance requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

  * City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 Electrical Installation.

  * Minimum 3-5 years' qualified electrical experience.

  * Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.

  * Good understanding of Facilities Management and building services.

  * Experience managing contractors and service providers.

  * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.

Desirable

  * City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.

  * City & Guilds 2377 PAT Testing.

  * HVAC or mechanical maintenance experience.

  * IPAF certification.

  * Experience with BMS and control systems.
