Join our busy student accommodation team near Stratford as a Facilities Team Member, focusing on general maintenance with an emphasis on electrical work and plumbing tasks (no formal qualifications required). Confidence using a drill and basic tools is especially important.
What you’ll do:
Perform general maintenance and reactive repairs, with a focus on basic electrical and plumbing tasks
Assemble, move, and safely lift furniture and mattresses, using drills and other hand tools
Maintain building cleanliness, safety, and good condition
Interact professionally with students and colleagues
What we’re looking for:
Basic DIY or maintenance skills, especially comfortable with electrical and plumbing tasks (formal qualifications not required)
Confident in using a drill and other common hand tools
Physically able to lift and move heavy items safely
Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
