Foster + Partners office in London holds around 1800 people currently. There is an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join the Facilities team to maintain the buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, provide and maintain a high standard of building fabric services.
- Undertake planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
- Carry out minor project, decorating, plumbing and project management works.
- Supervise specialist maintenance and installation contractors, both within and outside normal working hours.
- Source, order and cost materials and parts required.
- Produce weekly reports
Key skills:
- Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities
- Previous experience in maintenance work in particular Building/Fabric/Joinery
- Pro-active and able to work on own initiative under minimal supervision
- Good written and verbal skills
- Experience dealing with customers
- Physically able to carry out the responsibilities
- Experience with L8 testing
