The Role
We're looking for a skilled and proactive Fabric Technician to support the maintenance and enhancement of our estate. This role is ideal for someone with a strong carpentry background who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
You'll be responsible for:
Delivering high-quality reactive and planned fabric maintenance
Conducting fire door inspections and other PPMs
Collaborating with contractors and in-house engineers
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Maintaining accurate records via our CAFM systemThis is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation of a major London campus.

About You
Essential:
Carpentry qualification and proven experience in fabric maintenance
Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confident using digital tools (iPad, CAFM systems, Microsoft Office)
A team player with a flexible, problem-solving mindsetDesirable:
IOSH Managing Safely certification
City & Guilds/apprenticeship in a relevant trade
First Aid qualification
