Job Type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £12.64 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire
About the Role:
Industrious Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Factory Cleaner to join a well-established manufacturing site in Flitwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out thorough cleaning of factory production areas, including machinery exteriors, floors, walls, and work surfaces
*
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines
*
Empty bins, remove waste, and ensure disposal procedures are followed
*
Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies as needed
*
Work to cleaning schedules and complete records/checklists accurately
*
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Working Hours:
*
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
*
10-hour shifts, offering a consistent weekday schedule
Candidate Requirements:
*
Previous cleaning experience in an industrial, factory, or warehouse environment preferred
*
Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently
*
Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and prolonged standing
*
Reliable, punctual, and proactive in maintaining cleanliness standards
*
Must be comfortable working around production machinery (no direct machine operation involved)
