Job Overview
Prodrive Recruitment Ltd are seeking experienced Factory Operatives to join our clients team to assist with the cleansing of glass products prior to firing process.
This role is vital to the manufacturing process and can make the difference between a succesful order run or a quality control rejection...
Candidates must be"nimble-fingered" and be methodical with processes, to avoid breakages and ensure quality - preference will be given to female candidates
Responsibilities
* The role at first will be hands on learning on how the various products are handled and processed through the working area ready to be loaded into the ovens.
* To work with other team members and supervisors to ensure that the correct work is moved through in accordance with customer orders.
* To support other team members or areas of the company as required or directed.
* The operation of the auto glazer, loading – unloading and inspection of finished product.
* The inspection and packing of the cutting line track.
* Packing of finished product for despatch to customer.
* To keep the working area clean and tidy
Requirements
* Experience of working in a manufacturing/industrial environment is essential.
* Good attention to detail and logic, an understanding of working to tight quality standards and tolerances
* A natural desire for continuous improvement with a right first-time attitude.
Excellent organisational skills to manage time effectively.
* The ability to work under your own initiative or as part of a team.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
