Factory Operative
Location: Ipswich, IP1
Hourly Rate: £12.21
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Contract Type: Temporary
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client - a reputable and growing manufacturing company - who is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Factory Operatives to join their team on a temporary basis, with potential for long-term opportunities.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy production environment. As a Factory Operative, you'll play a key role in maintaining production quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively
Assist with product assembly and packaging
Perform quality control checks
Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
What We're Looking For
Previous factory or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential - full training provided
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, proactive, and a good team player
Available to start immediately
