A great opportunity has arisen with one of our long-standing engineering clients for a permanent Factory Operative to join their Casting department in the Medway area.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30; Friday 06:00-14:30
Previous factory or manufacturing experience is required, but full training will be provided.
The Role
You will support the safe and efficient running of the Casting department, carrying out a range of production duties, including:
Operating and loading/unloading robots
Carrying out hand dipping
Mixing and testing slurry
Operating the boilerclave
Processing components in line with work instructions
Completing production records and job cards
Carrying out quality checks
Following health & safety procedures and using PPE correctly
Carrying out manual handling duties safely
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a factory or manufacturing environment
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Able to follow written instructions and procedures
Detail-oriented and committed to quality
A good team player with strong communication skills
Comfortable with manual handling
