Braintree, Essex
 £12.71 per hour | Ongoing Temporary Position | Immediate Start Available

Prime Appointments are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful manufacturer based in Braintree, Essex. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Factory Operative to join their production team on an ongoing temporary basis, with the potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their skills.

Factory Operative Duties

As a Factory Operative, your responsibilities will include:

Operating production machinery safely and efficiently.
Removing finished products from machines and preparing them for the next stage of production.
Supporting the smooth running of the production line and reporting any issues to supervisors.
Assisting skilled machine operators with manufacturing tasks.
Learning to operate a variety of machinery through on-the-job training.
Helping in other areas of the factory when required.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area while following all health and safety procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
A reliable and hardworking attitude with a commitment to long-term work.
Flexibility to support different areas of the factory as needed.
Availability to start immediately.
 Hours, Pay & Benefits

Monday to Friday
7:00am - 4:00pm (finish times may vary slightly depending on production requirements)
£12.71 per hour
Weekly pay
Ongoing temporary assignment with the potential for long-term opportunities
Supportive working environment with full training provided
