Factory Operative - Colchester
£12.78 per hour | Full-Time | Temporary Ongoing | Monday to Friday (07:30 - 16:00)
We're currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a thriving and reputable company based in Colchester, Essex. This is a temporary ongoing position, offering a great opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills within a successful manufacturing environment.
The company supplies bespoke solutions to the construction industry, making this an excellent chance to be part of a busy, hands-on team.
Working Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday
07:30 - 16:00 (hours may vary)
£12.78 per hour
Weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting skilled machine operators with the manufacturing process
Following production schedules to meet daily targets
Feeding materials and components into machines
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Supporting various aspects of the production and manufacturing process
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
Capable of manual handling and heavy lifting when required
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
