Reporting to: Production Manager
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Newhaven Factory (33 Avis Way, Newhaven, East Sussex, BN9 0ED)
Start Date: 1st September 2025

The role:
As a Factory Operative/Window and Door Installer, manufacturing in a factory environment, you will be keen to learn new aspects of our industry with a good eye for detail. This is a very busy and manual role, where dexterity and the ability to multitask are key. You will be using a wide range of power tools, such as drills, impact drivers and powered saws.
Key responsibilities:
* Fitting UPVC and Aluminium window and doors
* Servicing and repairs, and adjustments as required
* Sealing and weathering windows and doors
* Replacing glazing as required
* Adhere to BM processes and procedures
* Wear all Personal protective equipment and company uniform provided
* The use of all tools, to include - Drill Drivers, Drop and circular saws, Impact drivers, Jigsaws, pillar drills, table saws and any other addition of tools as and when provided
* Manual handling of products to and from production tables as and when required
* Ensure all work complete is to a high standard
* Support the team is keeping the factory and canteen area clean
* Ba adaptable between areas and range of works required
* Use various materials, steel, timber, insulations and many others associated within construction
* Communicate effectively
Key skills and experience required:
* 3 years of installation experience of Windows and Doors (Essential)
* Experience with installations in timber frame buildings (desirable)
* Skilled Blue CSCS Card or above (Desirable)
* Reliable, punctual and positive attitude. (Essential)
* Teamwork & Communication skills (Essential)
* Willing to learn and embrace new opportunities. (Essential)
* Capable of a physically demanding job. (Essential)
