Tradewind are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Faculty Director of Mathematics to join a growing secondary school in Sandwell. If you are an ambitious leader with the drive to shape a thriving Maths department and contribute to whole-school improvement, we would love to hear from you!
Position: Faculty Director of Mathematics

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic development of the Maths faculty, raising standards and securing excellent outcomes for all learners.
Inspire, coach and support staff to deliver high-quality teaching and an engaging, ambitious curriculum.
Drive innovation across the department, using data and evidence-informed practice to enhance progress.
Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school initiatives and improvement priorities.
Champion a positive learning culture and uphold high expectations for students and staff.
Support the continued growth of the school as pupil numbers increase year on year.

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong track record of successful leadership within Maths
Excellent classroom practice and deep curriculum knowledge
Ability to motivate staff, lead change and drive improvement
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Passion for ensuring all students receive an exceptional education
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
