FAIRS (First Article Inspection Report) Quality Technician - 9 Month FTC | Up to £35,000

📍 Newport | Fully Onsite

Are you an experienced FAIRS Quality Technician with strong AS9102 expertise? Our client, a leading electronics manufacturer based in Newport, is seeking a detail‑driven Quality professional to support First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) activities on a 9‑month fixed-term contract.

You'll be joining a high-performing Quality team and playing a pivotal role in ensuring products meet stringent aerospace compliance standards.

Please note: Due to required security clearance, applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.

What You'll Be Doing

Creating AS9102-compliant FAIRs to the latest revision
Producing Forms 1, 2, and 3 accurately using customer data packs and drawings
Completing verification activities against ballooned drawings (essential)
Ensuring alignment with AS9100 traceability and documentation requirements
Collaborating closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support product release

What We're Looking For

✔ Demonstrated experience with AS9102 FAIR creation
 ✔ Strong capability in producing Forms 1, 2, and 3
 ✔ Confident in verification against ballooned engineering drawings
 ✔ Background in aerospace or high‑reliability electronics (desirable)
 ✔ Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, methodical working style
