Job Description
We are working with a local authority to appoint an experienced Parenting Practitioner to join their Children & Families service on a temporary basis in the Vale of Glamorgan area.
The Role:
Deliver positive parenting support and programmes to parents/carers.
Manage a caseload of targeted 1:1 interventions, underpinned by thorough assessments and family plans.
Facilitate parenting groups alongside colleagues and partner agencies.
Work closely with external agencies to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and case notes in line with policy.
Flexible working required, including some evenings and weekends.About You:
Background in family support, parenting interventions, or similar front line practice.
Confident in group facilitation and 1:1 work with families.
Skilled in assessments, case management, and partnership working.
