Position: Family Group Conference Coordinator Location: Ilford (just a 10-minute walk from Ilford train station) Contract Type: Temporary (Annual Leave Cover) Working Pattern: Full Time Hourly Rate: From £17.54 Your Role: As a Family Group Conference Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting families through the Family Group Conference process. Your responsibilities will include: Facilitating Family Conferences: Plan, organise, and coordinate initial and review conferences to ensure every family member is heard. Home Visits: Conduct individual home visits while adhering to our lone worker policy. Multi-Agency Collaboration: Engage with various agencies to address complex family situations effectively. Support and Empowerment: Work closely with families to create safe and supportive plans that prioritise the well-being of children. Diversity Awareness: Ensure that Family Group Conferences are inclusive and responsive to the needs of families from diverse backgrounds. What We're Looking For: Education: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care, plus accredited training in Family Group Conferences. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a professional role with children and families, including experience facilitating Family Group Conferences and working in Children's services. Skills: Strong oral and written communication, excellent organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage conflict effectively. Knowledge: Familiarity with child development, family dynamics, and relevant legislation is essential.
