Family Law Solicitor
Ashby-de-la-Zouch or Derby | £35,000 – £50,000 DOE | Full-time | Hybrid Working
Lead the way in Family Law with a firm that values your voice, expertise, and ambition.
We’re looking for an experienced and confident Family Lawyer to step into a senior-level role and help shape the future of our expanding Family department.
YOUR ROLE:
From divorce and financial settlements to child arrangements and cohabitation disputes, you’ll manage a broad caseload with autonomy and purpose. This is a stand-alone role with the opportunity to influence growth, working closely with the Head of Department and wider leadership team.
Whether you're based in Ashby or Derby, you’ll benefit from hybrid working (up to 3 days WFH) and flexible collaboration across both sites, with support during onboarding and ongoing development.
Day-to-day, you'll:
Manage your own caseload of private family matters
Deliver outstanding client care and clear communication
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Contribute to business development, networking, and marketing activity
Support and shape the firm’s strategic plans for growth in Derby and beyond

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 6+ years’ PQE
Proven experience in private family law matters
Confident managing a varied caseload independently
Commercially aware and target-driven
Naturally organised, proactive, and personable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
