We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Family Partner to join our team, bringing a client following and a deep expertise in divorce litigation.
Role Overview:
As a Family Partner, you will be responsible for leading the firm's divorce litigation practice, handling complex, high-value cases involving HNW and UHNW clients. You will work closely with an established team of legal professionals, offering tailored advice on the full range of divorce-related matters, including financial settlements, pre-nuptial agreements, child custody, and jurisdictional issues. Your ability to manage sensitive, high-stakes disputes with tact and discretion will be key to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex divorce litigation cases, providing expert legal advice to HNW and UHNW clients.
Manage a caseload of high-value financial disputes, pre-nuptial agreements, and child-related matters.
Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of existing clients, while building a sustainable client base through your established network.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and family court hearings.
Collaborate with other partners and senior lawyers to develop and execute business development strategies.
Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff within the team.
Stay abreast of developments in family law, particularly in relation to the financial aspects of divorce and asset protection.
Candidate Requirements:
A highly skilled family lawyer with extensive experience in divorce litigation, particularly for HNW and UHNW clients.
A strong client following with a proven track record of handling complex and high-value cases.
Demonstrable expertise in financial settlements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, child custody, and cross-jurisdictional issues.
Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively across different departments within the firm.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail and discretion.
A strong commercial mindset with the ability to spot business development opportunities.
