Family Support Worker Location: Darlington Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Initial 3-month contract (with the aim to extend) Join Our New Child in Need Pilot Team We are excited to be recruiting Family Support Workers (Child and Family Assessment Workers) to join our newly established Child in Need Pilot team in Darlington. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative approach to supporting vulnerable children and families at a crucial point in their journey. In this role, you will hold a small, manageable caseload, allowing you to complete high-quality assessments, plans, and reviews that truly make an impact. You will work closely with children and their families to ensure their needs are understood, their voices are heard, and the right support is in place. What We Offer Support from a dedicated Social Work Team Manager Weekly supervision to guide your practice and professional development Agile working, with flexibility once your caseload is established An initial period of office-based working to enable shadowing, learning, and team integrationThis post is offered for an initial 12-week period, with the strong possibility of extension.
