Join Our Team – Family Support Worker (Durham)
📍 Location: Durham
⏳ Contract: 3 months initially, with the potential to extend
🕒 Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
We’re looking for skilled and compassionate Family Support Workers to work alongside our social work teams, helping families create positive, lasting change.
Your Impact:
Provide tailored interventions to help parents develop and strengthen parenting skills.
Supervise family time sessions, ensuring children have safe, meaningful experiences with their families.
Keep detailed, accurate supervision records to support the wider social work process.We Need Someone Who:
Has excellent organisational skills to manage a varied workload.
Can communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
Writes clear, concise reports that capture essential information.
Puts children at the heart of every decision and action.
Can remain calm and constructive when managing conflict.
