Job Title: Family Support Worker – Family Time Team
Location: Knowsley
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Initial 3-month contract (with the possibility of extension)
About the Role
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Family Time Team in Knowsley. This vital role focuses on supporting cared-for children and their families by supervising family time (contact sessions) and ensuring these are safe, positive, and meaningful experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise family time sessions between children and their families.
Complete clear and accurate contact record case notes, providing detailed observations and professional analysis.
Attend and contribute to care planning meetings, sharing insights to support the best outcomes for children.
Work flexibly as part of a supportive and dedicated team.Requirements
Previous experience of working with children, families, or within a social care setting is desirable.
Strong observation, recording, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.What We Offer
