Farm Workers
Denbigh, LL16 4TH
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading primary turkey breeding company, with farms and hatcheries across the UK. Our client is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join their team in Denbigh.
The Role
* Working hours: 06:30 – 15:30 (negotiable), Monday to Friday
* Weekend work required: one day per week, egg collection only (paid at overtime rate)
* Daily duties include:
* Collecting eggs
* Supporting artificial insemination processes (initially assisting with bird handling, approx. 14kg)
* General farm tasks as required
This is a physically demanding role, involving regular handling of livestock. Full training and induction will be provided.
Requirements
* Ability to carry out physical work, including handling turkeys
* Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis
* Successful candidates must pass pre-employment screening through HR, including criminal history and animal rights association checks
