Pay: Up to £29,334.00 per year
Job description:
Red Recruitment 24:7 are currently seeking an Farm Worker to work at our Client's farm in DN15. This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional company and undertake a great, exciting role.
Typical duties:
* Maintaining optimum environmental conditions to ensure animal welfare and biosecurity practices are maintained
* Ensuring site maintenance and general standards are met and completed
* Supervising staff and third parties whilst on site, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures
* Complying with legislative and assurance scheme standards
* Maintaining accurate records as stipulated (goods and services received, generator, alarm logs, crop records, medication register, accident book etc.)
* Operating the farm within effective cost management parameters
* Ensuring that high standards of animal welfare, hygiene and husbandry practice are maintained
* Working on other farm sites, as and when needed
About you:
* Previous farming experience
* Previous management experience
* Able to work flexible hours when necessary
* Must be able to reliably travel between Farms
