Job Title: Fashion and Textiles Lecturer
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate of pay: £30 - £35 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary, 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday)
Eden Brown are looking for a talented Fashion and Textiles Lecturer to join a leading and dynamic College in Greater Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for teaching to inspire and develop students studying Level 2 and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles.
As a Fashion and Textiles Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire students, equipping them with the practical and theoretical skills necessary to succeed in the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students studying Level 2 and Level 3 Extended Diplomas in Fashion and Textiles
* Plan and develop creative, industry-relevant coursework and lesson materials
* Assess student's progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
* Foster a positive and creative classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement
* Ensure lessons are aligned with current trends and industry standards, preparing students for careers in fashion
* Support students with portfolio development, creative projects, and exam preparation
* Contribute to the overall curriculum development and departmental activities
About You:
* Experience in fashion, textiles, or a related field
* Experience teaching fashion and textiles at Level 2 and Level 3
* A passion for fashion education and helping students reach their full potential
* Strong communication, organisational, and creative skills
* A teaching qualification (e.g. CertEd, PGCE)
* A commitment to providing a supportive and inspiring learning environment
A current DBS check is also required for this role.
