Finance Director – Strategic Growth Role | PE-Backed Consultancy
Location: Yorkshire (Hybrid/Flexible)
Salary: £70,000 + bonus
We’re working with a high-growth, private equity–backed consultancy to appoint a commercially minded Finance Director. This is a rare opportunity to join a values-led business partnering with global brands.
What You’ll Do
* Lead financial strategy, planning, and governance
* Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Board to drive profitability and growth
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling
* Manage cash flow, capital structure, and banking relationships
* Support M&A activity, due diligence, and commercial decision-making
* Champion automation, digital transformation, and process improvement
* Build and lead a high-performing finance team
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance
* Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
* Experience in PE-backed, growth-focused, or scale-up environments
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (preferred)
* Sector experience in consultancy, professional services, or creative industries
