We are partnering with our client to recruit a Feedstock Planning & Sourcing Coordinator. This role is key to ensuring efficient feedstock supply, effective stock management, and smooth coordination between suppliers, hauliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate feedstock deliveries across all business operations to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
Liaise with feedstock suppliers and hauliers to ensure reliable service and compliance with agreed terms.
Manage weighbridge operations, ensuring accurate and efficient service provision across sites.
Monitor supplier and haulier performance, particularly in relation to on-time delivery, specifications, vehicle weights, waste returns, and legislative standards.
Plan and schedule despatches from site in accordance with commercial agreements.
Manage onsite and offsite stockholding capacity, identifying and securing alternative storage solutions when necessary.
Work with the Commercial & Procurement Manager to review supplier and haulier performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and service improvements.
Ensure feedstock purchase and sales orders are raised, authorised, and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain short- to medium-term visibility of feedstock risks and opportunities.
Proactively identify and assess new feedstock opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date feedstock records.
Prepare and deliver daily and weekly reports, including KPI updates.
Participate in relevant daily and weekly business meetings.
Take accountability for achieving KPI targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience in the Waste or FMCG sectors.
Strong skills in scheduling, planning, and stakeholder management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and numerate with excellent attention to detail.
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Effective relationship management.
Solid process management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong numeracy skills.INDW
