Feedstock & Digestate Manager

Alecto Recruitment is partnering with an established company within the Anaerobic Digestion sector who is seeking an experienced Feedstock & Digestate Manager to join their team in Peterborough.

The Role will require:

  * Identify feedstock sources and opportunities.

  * Cultivate leads and track them through to completion.

  * Organise, plan, and schedule feedstock deliveries across the portfolio of sites, ensuring they arrive on time and to expected specifications.

  * Feedstock contract management e.g. negotiations/reviews

  * Maintain a testing and monitoring regime on new and existing feedstock lines.

  * Internal teamwork with operations, finance, and maintenance teams.

  * Engagement with farmers, contractors, suppliers, and landowners.

  * High levels of autonomy and initiative.

  * Understanding of procurement strategies to balance operational and financial requirements of the sites.

  * Strong negotiation skills.

  * Supporting the operations team as required for major works including de-grits.

Your experience and skills:

  * Higher education/degree in a relevant field e.g. Agriculture, Agronomy etc

  * Additional qualifications such as FACTS are desired but not essential

  * A valid UK driving licence

  * Experience working in the anaerobic digestion, commercial farming, or waste sector
