We're Hiring: Female Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers – Tyne and Wear (NE32) 🚨

We're recruiting Female Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers to provide essential care and support for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and personality disorders in the Tyne and Wear (NE32) area.

🧠 What You’ll Do

👥 Deliver person-centred support in line with individual care plans
*
🏡 Support with day-to-day tasks, physical health needs, and emotional wellbeing
*
💬 Promote independence, dignity, and community involvement
*
❤️ Provide care with compassion, empathy, and professionalism
✔️ What We’re Looking For
*
🕐 1+ year UK care experience (mental health, complex needs, learning disabilities, etc.)
*
📄 Proof of right to work in the UK (Sponsorship not available)
*
🧾 Two professional references from last 4 years
*
🔐 Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Desirable)
*
🚗 Full UK driving licence & access to a car (Desirable)
*
🔎 PBS trained
*
💪 Physically able to assist with mobility needs (e.g. wheelchairs, hoists)
*
🎓 NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (Desirable)
🕐 Shifts & Hours
*
🕰 Full-time (37.5 hrs/week) or Part-time (min. 15 hrs/week)
*
🗓 Flexible rota — includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
