Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fence Panel Maker to join our client in Lichfield. This role is essential in supporting manufacturing operations by producing high-quality fence panels for customers. This position starts as a 12-week temporary role, with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities:
Loading machine with wood
Construct fence panels according to company specifications and quality standards
Operate various hand( nail guns) and power tools safely and effectively
Inspect finished panels for defects and ensure quality consistency
Keep a clean and organized work area
Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentSchedule:
Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Breaks: 3 breaks throughout the day (15 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes lunch, 15 minutes in the afternoon, paid)
Overtime: Optional on Saturdays, paid at 1.5x the regular rateRequirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or woodworking preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and stand for extended periods
Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamBenefits:
