Job Description
Role – Fettler position
Location – Diss, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm
Capacity of role – Temporary ongoing position
Rate of pay - £12.50 per hour
Our client is currently recruiting for a Fettler to join their busy industrial team. Candidates will be happy to work in a multi skilled and varied job role
Main duties will include –
• Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met.
• Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery.
• Trim, scrape, or deburr objects or parts, using chisels, scrapers, and other hand tools and equipment including grinders
• Maintain equipment, objects, or parts, using hand tools.
• Sharpen abrasive grinding tools, using machines and hand tools.
• Maintaining and improving housekeeping in the working areas
Candidate attributes –
Previous manufacturing experience or within a similar job role
Own transport is essential due to the location
Ability to use various hand and power tools
Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
