We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to work for a legal claims client in Rawtenstall
Job description
You will be involved in a range of business operations, including the continual development of our custom built in-house CRM onboarding system, reactive tickets from our team of client handlers and overseeing our in-house brand campaign web assets such as websites and landing pages.
You will need a solid technical understanding of PHP and MySQL (Laravel also desirable), and you’ll have a central role in the business.
You’ll need to work closely with our development director and marketing teams to optimise our in-house bespoke CRM system and campaign assets web experience for optimal conversion rates and rates of customer retention.
As you grow and gain experience, you will have the opportunity to build and grow a team of developers around you, as well as have a pivotal role in the optimisation and tactical deployment of our in-house CRM system for our own brand campaigns and for white label client offerings. Your skills and experience
* · Minimum 5 years of full stack
* · Technically adept in both front and backend development, HTML, CSS, PHP (procedural and object orientated desirable), MySQL, CMS-based PHP (WordPress).
* · A keen eye for development on both mobile and desktop devices, including UX elements and site speed manipulations
* · A methodical approach to your work and the ability to prioritise your workload
* · A keen eye for quality control, both of your own work and that of others, identifying site errors with the ability to provide ‘out of the box’ ways of thinking
* · Understanding and implementation of web security and data protection
* · Critically review our development processes and propose new working methods and tools to enhance productivity and new-age thinking
* · Good time and priority management techniques, working in collaboration with the digital project management team and directors
* · Understanding of server-side languages and experience dealing with the setup and implementation of new domains, SSL certificates, email and FTP setup, including overall server management and maintenance
* · An understanding of best practices when building websites that consider SEO (technical on-page) and PPC landing pages
Your responsibilities
* · Design overall architecture of the web projects
* · Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of web projects and applications
* · Collaborate with and guide the rest of the development team to design and launch new features
* · Maintain code integrity and organisation
* · Work with graphic designers and convert designs into functional output
* · Implement security and data protection on all sites where required
* · Ensuring quality control of all web solutions we create
* · Undertaking frequent personal development research and advancement techniques to further your own and the company’s expertise and commercial offerings.
* · Management of code versioning tools such as Git (desirable if not imperative)
