Job Description
Job Title: Laminator (Fibreglass)
Salary: Starting at £12.21
Location: Barnsley
XCL Group are working alongside our client who is looking for a composite laminator to join their team on a temp – perm basis. The ideal candidate will have the relevant experience as well as excellent attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
* Work alongside the production team to manufacture silos and tanks
* Read and understand lay-up specifications
* To prepare the moulds and wet lay laminate
* Confident with the use of hand and power tools, in particular chopper guns
* Carry out bond preparation
* Maintain excellent house-keeping duties
* Always wear the correct PPE
The ideal candidate:
* Must have an understanding on fibreglass laminating and at least 2 years of experience
* Must have experience with wet lay lamination
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
