Field-Based Fire & Security Systems Engineer – Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms
Location: Leicester / Nottingham and Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and dependable Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join our clients growing team, covering the Leicester and Nottingham region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career with a reputable and supportive company.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding of a range of life safety and security systems, including:
* Fire alarm systems (addressable & conventional)
* CCTV (IP and analogue)
* Access control systems
* Intruder alarm systems
You will work on a range of commercial, residential, and industrial sites, ensuring all systems meet current standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and commission new fire and security systems
* Maintain and service existing systems
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
* Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork
* Deliver outstanding customer service and support
* Participate in an on-call rota (if required)
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in installing and maintaining both fire alarm and security systems
* Good working knowledge of current fire safety regulations (BS 5839)
* Experience with a variety of system manufacturers and control panels
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Industry qualifications (FIA, ECS, or equivalent) are desirable
