Location: Home based with UK wide travel and overnight stays – North Yorkshire

Role Overview
To provide comprehensive field-based electronic and electro-mechanical engineering support to customers in the UK installing, maintaining, repairing and trouble shooting equipment at customer sites, acting as the primary technical representative.
Key Responsibilities
Installations and Commissioning
Provide mobile engineering support to the company installations in the field.
Setting up new equipment at customer locations according to specification.
Carry out first line training following installation.
Maintenance and Repair
Carry out maintenance and repair.
Ensure equipment operates efficiently, minimizing downtime.
React to faults and incidents relating to equipment throughout the region.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Carry out diagnostic testing.
Reporting and Documentation
Complete necessary paperwork/IT systems use for adherence to customer support Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Effectively communicate with colleagues in the office and in the field.
Customer Relations
Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and support.
Building positive relationships with customers, providing training and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Adhering strictly to company and site-specific health and safety regulations Under the Health & Safety at Work Act, everyone has legal responsibility for their own welfare and for the health and safety of others. Person Specification
* Electrical & Mechanical Engineering experience within a field-based role is essential
* Ability to fault find with an attention to detail and a determination to succeed
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* A desire to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* A self-starter, who is conscientious and trustworthy in dealing with revenue-generating products
* A drive and passion for continuous improvement of company products
* Able to work under pressure maintaining a calm persona
* Flexible can-do attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile
* PC Literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Prepared to visit UK Head Office based in Doncaster as required for meetings/training.
