Field Engineer

* Excellent opportunity for a Field Engineer with hands-on installation, maintenance, or technical support experience to join a dynamic, customer-focused team delivering cutting-edge technology projects across the UK retail sector.
* This is a field-based, customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, solving technical problems, and delivering high-quality service on-site.
Are you a Field Engineer or Installation Engineer with experience in deploying or supporting technical hardware in live customer environments?
Would you enjoy working on-site across a wide variety of retail technology projects?
Do you value independence, variety, and problem-solving as part of your day-to-day role?
This Field Engineer job will suit:
* Someone with experience in on-site installations, technical support, or engineering field service roles
* A confident communicator with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
* Engineers familiar with site surveys, hardware troubleshooting, maintenance and repair
* Individuals comfortable working independently across different site environments
* Someone happy to travel regularly, with a flexible, hands-on mindset
This Field Engineer job will involve:
* Conducting site surveys, installations, equipment testing, and maintenance
* Troubleshooting technical issues and completing break-fix visits
* Supporting project timelines and working closely with the engineering team
* Training end-users on system operation and usage
* Documenting work and maintaining accurate service records
* Travelling from a Coventry base to customer sites across the UK
