Field Engineer (Power Generation Sector) Field Based (Berkshire and Hertfordshire) - Hybrid Working Available £40,000-£50,000 + Van + Discretionary Bonus + Training + Further Accreditations / Certifications + Fuel + Autonomy + Flexibility + Pension + 35 Days Holiday! Are you an engineer with experience working on generators or engines who is looking to join a leading company within the power generation sector where you will receive further training and accreditations? Do you have a mechanical or electrical engineering background and want to work in a flexible and autonomous environment with varied work? Working within the power generation sector, this company designing and developing power generation solutions to support the likes of National Grid with power supply. They develop a range of solutions including diesel generators and renewable energy solutions. In this role the successful candidate will oversee and manage three diesel generator sites across the Berkshire and Hertfordshire area. They will carry out maintenance and repair work as well as do engine checks and general site upkeep. This will be a field-based role with some home working as well. Further training and accreditations will be available. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and experience carrying out maintenance work on generators or engines. They will be looking to further progress their technical skills within the power generation sector, hold a valid UK driving license and live within the Berkshire, Hertfordshire or commutable area.
