Siltbuster Ltd is the UK’s leading responsive wastewater treatment company, serving an extensive range of clients across the UK and overseas. “Water Quality Matters”; and the business ensures that environmental protection is provided by delivering effective package plant solutions to a breadth of sectors. As a Regional Field Engineer, you will be undertaking a breadth of duties providing installation, commissioning and training for site operators for Siltbuster water treatment solutions. Working with the operational team you will ensure that equipment is installed and commissioned in a safe manner to hand over the asset to the Client. This role will be covering M4 corridor and the south and the ideal candidate will be based in the Basingstoke/Reading/Newbury/Farnborough area. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the water-environmental sector, with practical and positive outlook. While prior experience in the service industry, especially in water and environmental-related aspects, would be ideal, we're also open to candidates with backgrounds in construction services. What matters most is your enthusiasm to contribute to a cleaner, greener world. Main responsibilities * Responsible for equipment installation and service duties incorporating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation work * Commissioning, testing and maintenance of systems in accordance with planned schedules in undertaking PPM * Positive engagement with fault finding and breakdown response * Liaison with Client and contractors in undertaking works on 3rd party sites * Excellent adherence to safe systems of work Qualifications & Experience * NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering, or qualified by experience. * At least 2 years’ experience in relevant industry; environmental and wastewater experience desirable with construction and commercial site experience. * Good understanding of ISO 14001 and 9001:2015 standards and appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and controls for role * Organisation skills and ability to prioritize work * Strong initiative with effective problem solving * Able to demonstrate initiative and professionalism when dealing with customers * Full driving licence with no more than 6 points We understand balancing work and life commitments isn’t always easy, that’s why we’ve designed our benefits package to support you in all areas of life. * Competitive salary * Eligible for company bonus scheme * Medicash Scheme – medical expenses scheme (access to 24hour online GP services, discounted gym memberships) * Pension scheme * 25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays * Increasing annual leave entitlement with long service * 3x your annual salary life insurance (DIS) * Support for development and training * Employee assistance programme (EAP) & access to Mental Health first aiders * Employee discount scheme (discounts/vouchers for supermarkets, high street shops, holidays and more) * Employee referral scheme * Free on-site parking, with employee EV charging available.
