CANDIDATES SHOULD BE BASED IN THE SOUTH WALES/SOUTH WEST ENGLAND AREA. Field Sales Representative - Abrasives Location - South Wales and South West England Permanent Salary - £60,000 total planned income, inclusive of bonus My client are a global manufacturer with a long standing reputation as a company committed to innovation. They are now looking for a Field Sales Representative to join their team in the South Wales and South West England area. Your responsibilities in the role Support our end user customers to optimize their production processes, delivering market leading productivity savings and safety improvements with company abrasive products Meet & exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by increasing market share through competitive new end user conversions Build a strong pipeline of new opportunities and close win these opportunities as required under sales plan. Utilise the Customer Relationship Database (accounts, activities, opportunities, profiles, contacts) as a territory management and sales planning tool Find and develop new end users increasing end user loyalty to company Abrasive products across the territory by using abrasive product, application and process knowledge Develop close working relationships with the territory channel partner Sales Reps built on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support. Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace. Skills and Experience Good standard of education Good negotiation skills and commercial acumen Ability to build relationships and operate in a complex organisation Strong communication, questioning and listening skills Strong persuasive influencing skills Organised with ability to work with others and alone to deadlines IT literate - Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Salesforce Pro-active, driven, results focused self-starter with a passion for sales and exceeding targets Tenacious and resilient - ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspective Capable of grasping technical concepts within abrasive products an selling/demonstrating these in an industrial manufacturing environment Further details provided upon application ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
