Job Role: Field Service Engineer South
Location: Oxfordshire + Surrounding Areas
Shift: Monday - Friday
Salary: £40k - £45k + van or allowance
Job Role Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join my clients team, providing comprehensive technical support across our range of high-value equipment. The role involves servicing, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair activities, while maintaining high standards of customer service and promoting our products and services.
Perform on-site maintenance, repair, and calibration of instruments and equipment in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure all work meets internal quality standards and complies with service level agreements.
Prepare detailed calibration reports and certificates.
Respond effectively to technical enquiries and resolve issues to customer satisfaction.
Report field observations and customer feedback to the Service Manager.
Set individual performance goals aligned with company KPIs
Apply strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across various technical scenarios.
Perform other duties as required by the department.The Candidate:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical service, support, or field engineering role.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Proven experience working with high-value electrical capital equipment.
Experience with SAP / IT literate
High level of flexibility to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
Ability to prioritise, self-manage, and work independently.
Calm under pressure with excellent time management.
Technically up to date and continuously learning.
1 week training overseas required
