Field Service Engineer - Diagnostic Solutions (Genomics & Pathology)
📍 Southern UK (Southampton / Hampshire area)
Remote-based with regular travel - company car provided
We are working on behalf of a leading global innovator in life science and diagnostics technology, currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to support their expanding operations across Southern England. Key Requirements
Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or a Technical field (Electronics, Engineering, Informatics)
Hands-on experience in field service or technical support for diagnostic systems (e.g., NGS, pathology, lab automation)
Strong communication skills and a valid UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of diagnostic instruments at customer sites
Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally
Collaborate with internal teams and escalate performance concerns when necessary
