Job Description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading dealer of material handling equipment looking to recruit a new Field Service Engineer to service a growing fleet of trucks within Reading and surrounding areas. With a competitive salary and a number of other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer interested in a new role or an individual from a similar background looking to get into the industry.
Responsibilities
  * Servicing a client base across the Reading area with a focus on servicing forklift trucks
  * Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include access and pallet trucks
  * Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
  * Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call
Requirements
The company prefer an individual with experience within the Material Handling industry. However, this isn’t essential, they would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles or automotive. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in or around the Reading area.
