Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a background in generator systems? We're working with a well-established engineering firm that specialises in power solutions and is seeking a dedicated professional to join their national service team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and travel. You'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining generator systems across the UK, with a focus on diesel-powered units.
About the Role:
As the UK Field Service Engineer, you'll be the primary point of contact for on-site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of generator systems. You'll work independently, travelling to customer sites nationwide, ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on generator systems (including diesel generators).
Travel across the UK to customer sites, providing responsive and professional support.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Liaise with internal teams to support warranty investigations and technical queries.
Participate in overtime and flexible working schedules as required.What We're Looking For:
Experience working with generator systems, ideally diesel-powered.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a national travel schedule.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
