Engineering @365 is working with a specialist engineering business that designs, installs, and maintains high-performance air handling and climate control systems for a wide range of industrial and technical applications. About the role:
This is a field-based position providing installation, maintenance, and technical support for environmental and humidity control systems across the UK. The role suits a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills who enjoys problem-solving and working independently on customer sites.
You will be part of a friendly and skilled service team, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained, and performing to specification. Occasional overnight stays may be required, with all travel and accommodation managed to ensure a good work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out installation, commissioning, service, and repair of environmental control equipment on customer sites.
* Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics, identify faults, and implement solutions effectively.
* Complete service documentation, including reports and parts usage records.
* Liaise with customers to deliver clear updates, advice, and on-site training where required.
* Provide feedback to the engineering team to support product improvements and reliability.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role.
• Strong electrical and mechanical understanding, ideally within HVAC or process equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Experience working with air handling, dehumidification, or industrial drying systems.
• Electrical or mechanical qualifications (HNC/HND or equivalent).
• F-Gas certification or similar industry credentials.
