Field Service Engineer - Waste Compactors & Bailers

Home-based - Ideally based on M4 Corridor

£32,500 - £40,000 basic - OTE £55,000+ with travel pay, overtime and on-call

Are you a skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer looking for a stable career with an international market leader? Join a dedicated field service team and become an expert in the maintenance and repair of specialist waste compaction and baling machinery

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of this international company, providing essential service to their wide-ranging client base. Your responsibilities will include:

Executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on hydraulic balers, compactors, and associated waste equipment.

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Conducting electrical and PLC diagnostics and fault finding (training provided).

Performing essential welding and fabrication during repairs (a significant advantage).

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Service/Maintenance Engineer working with heavy industrial machinery, preferably compactors, balers or similiar plant equipment.

A strong background in Hydraulics and Mechanical Engineering is essential.

Welding/Fabrication skills are highly desirable.

A valid UK driving license
