Field Service Engineer - Industrial Machinery | Ipswich (commutable) | £30,000 - £45,000 + OTE + International Travel

Are you a hands-on Field Service Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills? Do you enjoy international travel and working with advanced industrial machinery?

We are working with a well-established UK manufacturer specialising in high-performance converting and processing equipment, supplying customers across Europe and North America.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining specialist machinery at customer sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and commissioning of industrial machinery at customer sites
Electrical and mechanical fault finding and maintenance
Providing technical support both remotely and on-site
Delivering operator training to customers
Supporting continuous improvement and service delivery
Extensive travel across the UK and internationally 

Requirements

Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification
Experience with industrial machinery / automation / control systems
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 50%)
