We're working with an Engineering business in Wakefield, they are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their growing business in Wakefield. This role is constantly on the road visiting the businesses customers and servicing their equipment on site. You will be in a customer facing position and working on a variety of sites across the UK.
The Person:
* NVQ Level 3 Trained (Apprentice Trained).
* Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings
* Experience of field service work, on-site installations would be desirable
* Happy to travel overseas.
The Role:
* Mechanical fitting and assembly of mechanical components
* Basic electrical knowledge
* Welding of machinery/parts.
* Experience working with Conveyors / Motors / Gearboxes
* Pneumatics / Hydraulics
* Servicing of machinery / Commissioning of machinery.
* Preventative and reactive maintenance on all machinery.
This role is a service engineer role, and is on the road. You will work predominately Monday to Friday days but, there is times where you will need to stay out and travel abroad when needed. For more information contact Shaun at Questech
