Field Service Engineer / Calibration Engineer
Location: South West Midlands
Salary: Up to £35,000 + benefits

Are you an ambitious, hands-on problem-solver looking to kickstart your career in engineering? We’re on the hunt for a Junior Field Service Engineer / Calibration Engineer to join our client's growing metrology company in the South West Midlands.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s keen to learn, grow, and develop their skills in a dynamic industry with plenty of support and on-the-job training.
🚀 What You’ll Be Doing:

Carrying out calibration, testing, and servicing of a wide range of precision measuring equipment.

Visiting client sites across the UK to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
*
Working closely with senior engineers and mentors to build your knowledge in metrology and calibration standards.
*
Keeping accurate records and completing calibration certificates to meet compliance requirements.
👷♂️ What We’re Looking For:

A hands-on, practical mindset with a passion for engineering.
*
Some experience (even through a placement, internship, or project) working with technical equipment, instruments, or machinery is an advantage — but not essential.
*
Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new skills.
*
A full UK driving licence (essential).
*
Great communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients.
