Field Service Engineer
£45-47k
Paid door to door
1.5x overtime rate
Orion is partnered with a well-established business who's hub is based in Lincoln, which is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer, covering sites across the UK.
Field Service Engineer Duties:
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of heavy machinery and equipment such as Packers, shredders, mixers, pumps, loaders, conveyors, and compactors.
Electrical and mechanical experience
Perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability
Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment
Travel to all sitesField Service Engineer Experience:
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer in a similar industry
Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment
Knowledge of heavy machinery and their maintenance requirements
Strong technical electrical and mechanical skills
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Effective problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
